FrameOS is an iOS utility for preparing App Store screenshots and preview videos. It does not collect, sell, share, or track personal data.

What FrameOS Does

FrameOS lets you import images and videos, choose an App Store output size, adjust framing and background colour, trim video clips, remove or keep audio where relevant, and export finished App Store screenshots or preview videos.

All editing happens on your device.

Photo Library Access

FrameOS needs access to your photo library so you can choose the images and videos you want to edit. This includes screenshots, photos, and screen recordings from your library.

The app only receives the images or videos you select through Apple's photo picker. It does not scan your photo library, upload your library, or access photos and videos you do not choose.

How Your Media Is Handled

When you choose an image or video, FrameOS copies the selected file into temporary local storage so it can be edited and exported.

Exported screenshots and preview videos are also created locally on your device. FrameOS does not upload your original images, original videos, edited assets, audio, or export metadata to our servers.

Audio

FrameOS can keep the original audio, remove audio, or use an in-app audio option where available. Audio processing happens locally on your device.

Third-Party Services

FrameOS does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, crash reporting services, tracking SDKs, or cloud storage services.

Tracking

FrameOS does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.

Accounts

FrameOS does not require an account and does not store a user profile.

Data Sharing

Because FrameOS does not collect personal data, there is no personal data for us to sell, share, or disclose.

Data Retention

FrameOS does not retain your media or personal data on our servers.

Any temporary files created during import or export stay on your device and are handled by iOS local storage behaviour. You can delete exported screenshots or videos from your device wherever you save or share them.

Children's Privacy

FrameOS is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

If FrameOS changes in a way that affects privacy, this policy will be updated to explain the new behaviour.
